As the protests that began after the detention of 87 people, including Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu, continue, many people were taken into custody in house raids in Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Antalya and Çanakkale.
The protests are particularly concentrated on university campuses and city centers. The exact number of those taken into custody has not been established.
