In an interview with a private television channel, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Leader, Bafil Talabani, talked about the ‘Call for Peace and Democratic Society’ that Abdullah Öcalan shared with the public through the DEM Party Imrali Delegation on 27 February.
Bafil Talabani said: “The PKK declared a ceasefire and announced that it is ready to dissolve the party. However, Turkey’s planes and drones are not allowing this process to take place and are being bombarded every day. Even the Americans expressed their sadness to me about this issue, saying that Turkey’s drones are not giving the PKK a chance to hold its congress.”
