The 7th edition of the Mostra de Cinema Kurd (Kurdish Cinema Days) opens tomorrow, Friday, in Barcelona.

Friday 9 May at Can Batlló
18.30 Presentation of the 7th edition of the Mostra de Cinema Kurd de Barcelona.
Talk with a representative of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria.
20:00 Screening of Kobanê Film (2023) produced by the Rojava Film Commune and directed by Özlem.
Saturday 10 May at Zumzeig Cinema
11.30: Two productions by the KEZI Collective: a short film by the director Zîlan Hemo, Xewa Mirine, and a fiction by Dêrsîm Zêrevan titled Letters from Shengal.
16:00: Short film by the KEZI Collective: Xewn.
Documentary: Hêza produced by Komina Film Rojava under the direction of Derya Denîz.
18:00: Documentary: Legerin, in search of Alina.
Tickets for each session will cost €6
In the same space, you can see a photographic exhibition by Alba Cambeiro, Dorean Solfa and Gulê Welat.
Sunday 11 May at Ca la Panarra
12:00: Screening of the documentary “Naharina, community resistance in Syrian Kurdistan” produced by Directa and Komina Film Rojava with the direction of Ferran Domenech Tona and Maria Recreo.

16:00: Screening of the documentary “Love in the face of genocide”, produced by Komina Film Rojava and directed by Shero Hindê.
17:30: Screening of the documentary “Extranjero”, directed by Alfonso Gastiaburo.
