A team from the Asrin Law Office is on its way to Imrali prison island to visit Abdullah Öcalan. It will be one of the rare meetings in years; the last documented meeting took place in 2019.

Lawyers from Asrın Law Office, Cengiz Yürekli, Raziye Öztürk, and Ibrahim Bilmez, have left Istanbul this morning to go to Imrali to meet with Abdullah Öcalan.
Özgür Faik Erol took part in the meeting held in Imrali on 27 February 2025 with Öcalan, Ömer Hayri Konar, Hamili Yıldırım, and Veysi Aktaş.
The last visit by lawyers to Öcalan was on 7 August 2019. Lawyers Rezan Sarıca and Newroz Uysal Aslan went to Imrali for that visit.
