The SDF announced that in an attack carried out by ISIS cells in the town of Abriha, east of Deir ez-Zor, 4 of its fighters fell as martyrs and one ISIS mercenary was killed.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Center said in a statement that four of its fighters “fell as martyrs while confronting a treacherous attack carried out by ISIS terrorist cells in the town of Abriha, east of Deir ez-Zor, following direct clashes that resulted in the elimination of one terrorist.”
The statement added: “Our forces continue to pursue the other terrorists and reinforce security, affirming that the blood of our martyrs is a pledge to carry on crushing ISIS remnants and defeating terrorism once and for all.”
