The family of former The Only Way Is Essex star Jake Hall have travelled to Majorca less than a week after his sudden death at the age of 35.
Hall, who appeared on the ITV reality series between 2015 and 2017, died last Wednesday after suffering fatal head injuries at a property in Santa Margalida. Authorities said he was discovered at around 7:30 a.m. and early findings indicate the injuries were sustained after he fell through a glass door.
Police in Majorca have since confirmed the death is being treated as accidental. Four men and two women were questioned as part of the investigation before officials ruled out suspicious circumstances.
In the days following the tragedy, Hall’s parents, Greg and Jaqueline, along with his brother Sonny, visited a sculpture the late television personality had recently unveiled at the NU Mallorca beach club.
Images shared on social media showed family members and close friends gathered around the beachfront artwork in tribute to Hall. One photograph featured his mother embracing family friend Sophie Brooke Flecks while standing beside the sculpture.
Greg Hall also posted a family photograph from the visit, thanking supporters for the messages of sympathy received since his son’s death.
Outside of reality television, Hall had built a career as a model, fashion designer and artist. He frequently showcased his artwork and creative projects online, where he had maintained a strong following.
Hall was also the father of eight-year-old daughter River, whom he shared with former Ladies of London personality Misse Beqiri.
Following confirmation of his death, a statement released on behalf of Beqiri said her priority remained supporting and protecting their daughter while the family copes with the loss. The statement also requested privacy and compassion during the mourning period.
Tributes from friends and former co-stars quickly flooded social media after news of Hall’s death emerged.
Denise Van Outen described the loss as heartbreaking, remembering Hall as a kind person with “incredible energy.” She also extended condolences to his family and friends.
Former cast member Ferne McCann paid tribute to Hall’s creativity and personality, recalling his artwork, dancing and distinctive presence online.
Georgia Harrison also shared condolences, saying her thoughts were with Hall’s loved ones during the difficult time.
