In the footage, Crowe warned that he would stop interacting with fans if the situation became disorderly, emphasizing that he intended to meet supporters calmly as long as everyone respected personal space and hotel access remained clear.
After the clip gained traction online, the Oscar-winning actor responded on social media, explaining that the situation was ultimately resolved without incident. Crowe said fans were able to receive autographs and selfies while hotel guests maintained access to the entrance, adding that he managed the encounter without security and still made it to the airport on time.
Appearance at the French Open
The viral moment came shortly after Crowe attended the 2026 French Open alongside his longtime partner Britney Theriot. The couple were seen courtside during the tournament’s opening weekend wearing coordinated navy and light blue outfits paired with matching aviator sunglasses.
Crowe wore a navy blazer over a gray waistcoat and light blue shirt, while Theriot opted for a similarly styled blazer and collared shirt combination.
The pair were first linked romantically in 2020 after being photographed together at a tennis match. They later made their official red carpet debut in 2022 during the premiere of Poker Face in Italy.
