Britney Spears privately encouraged her sons, Jayden and Sean Preston Federline, as they stepped into the fashion spotlight for the first time during the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 presentation at Paris Fashion Week on June 26.
Although the pop icon did not publicly comment on their runway appearance, the brothers later revealed that their mother remained closely involved behind the scenes. Ahead of the show, Britney sent flowers to their hotel and stayed in frequent contact through phone calls and text messages to offer encouragement before they walked the runway.
Jayden shared that their mother was especially emotional leading up to the event, explaining that she wanted to ensure both sons felt comfortable with the opportunity and genuinely wanted to pursue it. He said her confidence in them gave the pair an extra boost before stepping onto the catwalk.
Sean Preston explained that the opportunity came after Vetements’ creative director noticed the brothers through photos circulating online. They were initially invited to attend the show as guests, but the invitation later evolved into an offer to participate as runway models.
The brothers embraced the unexpected opportunity, describing it as an exciting experience. Moments before the show began, Jayden recalled exchanging a silent nod with Sean Preston backstage, saying the shared experience helped calm his nerves. He admitted he would have struggled much more without having his older brother alongside him during their debut.
Despite enjoying their first taste of the fashion industry, both brothers indicated that modeling is unlikely to become their primary career path.
Sean Preston said music remains their greatest passion, noting that both he and Jayden have been involved with music throughout their lives. While he enjoyed the runway experience, he described music as the creative field they naturally gravitate toward.
