Bookings can be made up to three days before departure, with the service officially launching in September. Each flight booking carries a flat fee of 9.99 euros, and additional luggage beyond one personal item incurs extra charges.

Wizz Air plans to release 10,000 of these “all you can fly” memberships, but availability will depend on several external and internal factors. This move follows a trend seen in the U.S., where airlines like Frontier have introduced similar unlimited flight passes, though the concept is still relatively new in Europe.

Despite the innovative launch, Wizz Air faces challenges. The Hungarian airline recently reported a 44% drop in first-quarter operating profit and has struggled with customer satisfaction, ranking low among European short-haul carriers. CEO Jozsef Varadi cited supply constraints and inflationary pressures as key factors affecting the airline’s short-term outlook.
