Urfa MP Ömer Öcalan, who held a family visit at Imrali, stated that Öcalan emphasized the “vital necessity of the participation of all sectors in the process” in order for it to progress in a healthy way.

Abdullah Öcalan met with his legal guardian, Mazlum Dinç, and his nephew, Ömer Öcalan, MP for the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) for Urfa (Riha), in Imrali High-Security Type-F Prisonas as part of a family visit.
Other inmates at Imrali, Hamili Yıldırım, Ömer Hayri Konar, Ergin Atabey, and Zeki Bayhan, also held family visits.
After his meeting with Öcalan, Ömer Öcalan posted a comment on his X account, saying: “Today, as the family of Mr. Abdullah Öcalan, we held a visit with him at Imrali Prison. Mr. Öcalan maintains his hope and determination for peace and a democratic solution and emphasizes that ‘the participation of all sectors in the process is a vital necessity’ for it to move forward in a healthy manner.”
