The number of people taken into custody in the police operation carried out in Şirnak has increased to 23.

Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Provincial Assembly member Müzeyyen Inan and 2 people whose names could not be learned were taken into custody following house raids carried out in the town of Ereban (Karalar) in Idil (Hezex), in the province of Şirnak.
The three people detained were taken to the Provincial Police Department.
20 people were also taken into custody in house raids carried out throughout Şirnak on Tuesday. Some of the people detained are: Zinar Elinç (17), Halil Kızılcan, Ömer Basan, Amed Sevim, Kadri İrtegun, Salih Urgen, Hakkı Belge and Nızar Akbaş.
With the last three arrests, 23 people are now under custody.
