Air defenses and military aircraft in Erbil intercepted unmanned aerial drones in Erbil, causing multiple explosions, a local source told Shafaq News on Thursday.
The source added that blasts were reported across several areas of the city, coinciding with heavy aerial activity, suggesting drones were shot down before reaching their targets.
No casulaties or damage were reported so far.
