The General Command of the Internal Security Forces of Northern and Eastern Syria confirmed that a checkpoint in Til Hemis had come under attack.

The General Command of the Internal Security Forces of Northern and Eastern Syria said in a statement that a checkpoint located in the village of Becariyê, in Til Hemis, Jazira Canton, was attacked.
The statement reported that “terrorist groups” fired RPG (rocket-propelled grenade) rounds at the security post from the surrounding area. The projectiles landed near the checkpoint, but no security personnel were injured.
The statement added: “We will take all necessary measures against anyone targeting security and social peace.”
The statement also confirmed that search operations have been launched to capture those responsible for the attack.
