DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the DEM Party delegation may meet within the week.

DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan answered journalists’ questions after the weekly group meeting in the Parliament on Tuesday.
Asked when a meeting with Erdoğan would take place, Bakırhan said, “I think our delegation will meet with Mr. President within this week. It will be positive and good. It will lead to good and beautiful things in Turkey. We expect and hope that it will take place within the week.”
Bakırhan said that no information was shared with them about where, how and when this meeting would take place, adding that they made this interpretation based on the words of AKP spokesperson Ömer Çelik.
“There has been no contact yet, and we are waiting for it,” Bakırhan said.
