The Committee for the Defense of Sharifa Mohammadi said that the political prisoner was sentenced to death again on 13 February.

The Committee for the Defense of Sharifa Mohammadi announced that the death sentence for the political prisoner and woman activist was upheld by the Chief Judge of the 2nd Chamber of the Revolutionary Court of Iran, Mohammad Ali Darwêş Goftar, as a result of the retrial.
Sharifa Mohammadi was tried in 2023 on charges of “Anti-State Propaganda” and sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of the Iranian regime on 4 July 2024, but the verdict was overturned on 12 December 2024.
