Euskal Herria Bildu Senator Gorka Elejabarrieta welcomed in a video message Öcalan’s historic call. He said the statement “opens a new opportunity to advance towards a solution to the conflict in Kurdistan.”
Elejabarrieta called on everyone to respond with responsibility to this important call and added: “From the Basque Country, we reaffirm our commitment to the Kurdish people and their right to peace and freedom. Biji Kurdistan!”
