A clash broke out following an explosion at the Turkish Aircraft Industries Corporation Facility in the Kazan district of Ankara. According to Turkish state forces, 6 people, including 2 attackers, lost their lives.

It was reported that an explosion and conflict occurred at the Turkish Aircraft Industry Corporation (TUSAŞ) Facility in the Kazan district of Ankara at 15:26.

Turkish state forces announced that 6 people, including 2 assailants, lost their lives and 14 people were injured, 3 of them seriously.

Many ambulances and fire crews were sent to the area.

Turkish Aerospace Industries Incorporation is the technology centre for the design, development, production, completion, refurbishment and after-sales services of air platforms in Turkey.

The company manufactures parts for the Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft, and the Airbus A400M, a military transport aircraft.
