Many mercenaries were killed and 14 others captured in ongoing clashes in Manbij.

Since last night, violent clashes have been taking place between fighters of the Manbij Military Council (MMC) and the Turkish-backed mercenaries (Syrian National Army) in the city centre of Manbij.
A BMB-type panzer and a vehicle belonging to the mercenaries were ambushed by MMC fighters and destroyed along with the mercenaries inside. In addition, 2 vehicles belonging to the mercenaries were destroyed in Dêr Hafir.
On the other hand, 14 members of the jihadist troops were captured by Manbij Military Council fighters.
The city centre, the surrounding villages, and the areas of Qereqozaq and Sirîn have been bombed dozens of times by Turkish warplanes as the fighting continues.
