The Turkish army carried out 691 attacks on the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) between April 21 and 23. Legitimate self-defense by the guerrillas left one soldier dead and two others injured.
According to the HPG statement on Thursday, the emplacements of the invaders who were in an attack position in the Girê Çarçel area in Metîna region were struck by the Şehîd Axîn Mûş Unit with a kamikaze drone on April 22. One soldier was killed and two others injured.
