Kurdish poet and writer Omar Mohammadi was arrested on 20 June and has not been heard from since.

There is still no information regarding the fate of Omar Mohammadi, a Kurdish poet and writer from Oshnavieh, six days after his arrest.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) reported that security forces arrested Mohammadi on 20 June during a raid on his family home in Oshnavieh, and took him to a detention facility in Orumiyeh.
Despite repeated efforts by his family to obtain information about his condition and whereabouts, security and judicial authorities have so far refused to provide any explanation, according to KHRN.
