Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani on Saturday offered condolences to former Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi over the death of his mother.
In a statement, Barzani expressed sympathy to al-Abadi and his family, praying for mercy upon her soul and strength for her loved ones.
Al-Abadi’s mother died in London on Friday after a prolonged illness.
