The Ministry of Finance of the Federal Kurdistan Region officially announced that it has deposited 120 billion Iraqi dinars, equivalent to 50 percent of non-oil revenues, into the Iraqi Central Bank.

In accordance with the latest agreement reached with Baghdad, the Kurdistan Region has begun handing over its non-oil revenues to Baghdad.
The Kurdistan Region Ministry of Finance stated that it has deposited a total of 120 billion Iraqi dinars in cash into the account of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance from non-oil revenues. According to the statement, the payment was made to the relevant bank account at the Iraqi Central Bank’s Hewlêr (Erbil) branch.
According to a written statement issued by the Ministry, this amount was obtained from the non-oil revenues of the Kurdistan Region and deposited in cash into an account belonging to the Iraqi Ministry of Finance in accordance with the Iraqi Constitution and budget law.
