The vacation photos arrive about a month after Sánchez Bezos and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos marked their first wedding anniversary. The couple exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in Venice, Italy, on June 27, 2025.

During Shark Week, she revisited memories from diving adventures near the Galápagos Islands, where she encountered whitetip reef sharks in their natural habitat. She described feeling nervous before the experience but said the animals displayed calm behavior as they swam peacefully nearby.
Sánchez Bezos highlighted the vital ecological role sharks play in maintaining healthy coral reefs by helping regulate marine populations and supporting ecosystem balance. She also emphasized that many shark species migrate across vast distances, contributing to the movement of nutrients throughout the ocean.
Despite their resilience over hundreds of millions of years, she noted that more than one-third of shark species now face the threat of extinction, underscoring the growing need for conservation efforts.
