German philospher Lisa Herzog shared a message of support for the “Peace and Democratic Society Process.” In the message sent to the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), she stated: “In a time when human life is increasingly devalued, every struggle waged for peace brings relief to our hearts. I wish strength and wisdom to all those involved in the process so that they may achieve a just, democratic, and lasting peace.”
Who is Lisa Herzog?
Born on December 17, 1983, Lisa Herzog completed her PhD at Oxford University with a thesis on Adam Smith and Hegel. She has received the Ernst Bloch and Hans Böckler prizes and previously worked with Frankfurt School thinker Axel Honneth. Herzog is currently a professor at the Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Groningen.
