As the 26th anniversary of the International Conspiracy against Leader Abdullah Öcalan approaches, meetings were held in the neighborhoods of Enteriyê and Kornîş in Qamishlo within the scope of the international initiative launched with the slogan “Freedom for Leader Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish question”.
The torture and genocide system in Imralı was discussed in the meetings. Calls were made to increase the level of struggle against the torture system imposed on Leader Abdullah Öcalan and to organize to increase the struggle against isolation.
The participants said that they will not accept the torture and genocide system in Imralı and added that they will continue to take to the streets to defeat the torture system and spread the philosophy of Leader Abdullah Öcalan among the people.
The actions will continue in the towns and neighborhoods of Qamishlo until Friday, 4 October.
