Tree cutting that has been carried out by village guards under military supervision in the Gabar and Cûdî mountains and in the Besta and Komatê regions of Şirnak continues. It was learned that tree cutting has started in the Biryan area in the Cilênimêja region most recently. New police stations and military stations have been built in many areas where trees are being cut down.
The shepherd’s trips to the plateaus have been made subject to “permission”.
The destruction of nature continues, but nature resists. Trees that have been burned and cut down for years for “security” reasons are growing again. It has been seen that century-old trees that were cut down in the Besta region have grown green again from their roots.
