Commenting on Abdullah Öcalan’s ‘Call for Peace and Democratic Society’ on February 27, the New Generation Movement’s leader Shahsuwar Abdulwahid said, “Mr. Öcalan’s call for dissolution is the beginning of a common life and a historic opportunity to achieve a lasting and real peace.”
“True peace is based on justice, mutual respect and recognition of rights. It is now time for dialogue, reconciliation and commitment to a common future,” Abdulwahid underlined.
