The message that Abdullah Öcalan sent to the elected DEM Party members was, “Speak about peace, support peace and explain it.”

It was reported that Abdullah Öcalan conveyed a message to the DEM Party elected members who have been involved in a series of meetings since the Kurdish people’s leader’s call on 27 February.
According to HaberTürk, a message that Leader Öcalan sent to the deputies was conveyed in those meetings. The message Öcalan sentd deputies was: “Speak about peace, support peace and explain it.”
It was learned that the following message was conveyed to the DEM Party municipal co-mayors: “40 years ago, the Kurds did not have a name, today they have municipalities. Explain the process, explain peace to the people.”
