Growing support for the historic ‘Call for Peace and Democratic Society’ made by Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan on February 27.

The Austrian philosopher and cultural theorist Robert Pfaller sent a message of support regarding Mr. Abdullah Öcalan’s Call for Peace and Democratic society.
The message reads as follows:
“The PKK’s decision to disband is a step of enormous significance. I can only try to imagine the courage and foresight that were necessary to take it. I hope that all political forces in Turkey understand what a historic opportunity this is.”
Pfaller is currently a professor of philosophy at the University of Art and Industrial Design Linz (Kunstuniversität Linz). His work has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the “Missing Link” Award from the Zurich Psychoanalysis Seminar (2007) and the Paul Watzlawick Honorary Ring from the Vienna Medical Association (2020).
