On Wednesday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) successfully thwarted a terrorist attack launched by ISIS cells targeting one of their positions in the town of Gharanij, Deir ez-Zor’s eastern countryside.
“Clashes erupted between our forces and the attacking terrorist cell. Due to our forces’ fire, the terrorists fled the area, leaving behind weapons and ammunition. Several terrorists were injured during the confrontation,” said the SDF Media Center.
