Sırrı Süreyya Önder has been moved to intensive care after a long surgery that concluded around 7:00 a.m. this morning. He was kept in the surgery theater for a while longer before being transferred to intensive care. It was reported that his condition remains serious and that he is currently receiving life support.
Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Deputy Speaker of Parliament and member of the Imrali Delegation of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), was taken to Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul by ambulance at 11:00 p.m. last night due to a heart condition. A full-length tear was discovered in his main aorta, and he was immediately taken into surgery.
