The Syrian Transitional Government has closed the Aleppo-Raqqa road near Deir Hafer.

The Syrian Transitional Government closed the road between Aleppo and Raqqa west of the Deir Hafer region, which is part of the Tabqa Canton, yesterday evening (September 26).
By closing this road, the government is blocking transportation and trade between Aleppo and the Autonomous Administration regions.
Co-chair of the Deir Hafer Civil People’s Council, Meha El Xelef, said that hundreds of travelers who took the road had to turn back after waiting for hours.
