Two civilians were killed when two assailants attacked an Internal Security Forces checkpoint in the eastern countryside of Raqqa. One assailant was killed as a result of the response by security forces.

Two assailants on a motorcycle carried out an armed attack on the Menaxir checkpoint in the eastern countryside of the Raqqa Canton in North-East Syria.
As a result of the armed attack, two civilians passing through the checkpoint were killed.
Members of the Internal Security Forces immediately responded to the attackers, killing one of them and seizing their motorcycle and weapon.
