The strike of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality workers has ended with the acceptance of the 19 percent inflation difference.

Nearly 23,000 workers employed by Izelman, Izenerji, and Egeşehir, subsidiaries of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, have been on strike since 28 May. The strike ended today, on its 7th day.
The 30 percent raise and 19 percent inflation difference that Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and Sodemen-Ses conveyed to the union were accepted.
