Young people in Batman (Êlih) continued their protests throughout the night in the neighborhoods against the usurpation of the 3 municipalities of Batman, Mardin (Mêrdîn) and Halfeti (Xelfetî) municipalities.
Young people blocked the roads in the Karşıyaka, Petrolkent, Bağlar and Cudi neighborhoods and clashed with the police who attacked them.
The police attacked the youth protesting the appointment of trustees to three DEM Party-run municipalities with tear gas, anti-riot vehicles and plastic bullets.
Young people blocked the roads by lighting fires, responding with fireworks.
